I was looking to buy a Kawasaki and was treated extremely well. My sales person was Rich and he had all the answers without being at all pushy. I felt that buying from this dealer would be a pure pleasure. I did end up buying my brother's bike but I wanted to leave a few words about how very nice it was shopping for a bike here. I have no doubt that if I had bought a bike here it would have been a very good decision to do so.

I want to give a shout out to management about making an effort to make the dealership better known to the people of Sarasota County. Punta Gorda is within our area of shopping for big ticket items but had I not stumbled upon you on the internet, I did not know you even existed. And I am a Florida native.

So all in all, if you are considering a new motorcycle, you must check these guys out. You will be impressed. I certainly was.

This is the second bike that I purchased from Destination Powersports. The first was a Kawasaki Ninja and the second was a Yamaha FZ6R. Both times was a pleasant experience. I have to admit that this time, I drove to the store with a certain bike in mind. According to D.P's website, this dealership had the bike that I was interested in viewing. I called them on my way there and one salesman informed me that they didn't have that particular bike in stock. I informed him that his website led me to believe that they did. I was a little irritated that the website was not up to date. I was actually thinking about driving right on by and going to another dealership in Fort Myers. I work nights so if I make plans to do something, it literally takes time away from my sleep. Therefore, I was a little pissed. The salesman on the phone stereotyped me, I don't believe that he did it intentionally, but he did. How did he do this you asked? Well I asked to see a sport bike. He said, we do not have that particular model in stock. Out of the blue, he states that the dealership has a "Bolt" in stock and believes that I would like it. A "Bolt", I am looking for a Sport Bike. Any bike person knows that a "Bolt" is a cruiser. Why would you suggest a cruiser? He suggested a cruiser because I'm a female. Why not another brand of sport bike? I have to believe it was because I am a female. Would he of offered to show a gentlemen a cruiser when he clearly asked for a sport bike? I doubt it and I hope not. I decided to give him the benefit of a doubt and stop in anyway. Luckily, Sandy came out of the store as soon as I pulled in. She literally saved the dealership the sale. I didn't bring it up and sort of left it roll off my back because my last purchase was exceptional and this guy probably was not even aware that he did this. If you are a dealership reading this testimony, hire more females in your shops. There are more and more females riding bikes these days and it isn't on the back of the bike. Also, not all girls like boring ass cruisers, so don't assume that they just want to putt around on Sunday afternoons. I like my bikes fast and exciting. Sandy did an excellent job of making this purchase easy and Debbie in financing made it less painful on the pocket. Rick gave me a great deal. This is a great dealership with a awesome team. I will buy a third bike here and probably from the guy that didn't even know that he insulted me. As the times change, so will society's perception. Dealerships, hire more independent women like Sandy and Debbie. If you don't change your thinking, you will get left behind. It is a pretty big price to pay for not thinking outside the box. Thank you, Sandy, Debbie and Rick it was worth losing a couple hours of sleep. You guys are awesome.

I want to thank your parts and service departments for making my vacation a reality.While riding on July 4 holiday, I noticed that my rear tire was almost completely bald. And since my wife and I were leaving for a Michigan vacation on Wednesday, and planning on taking the motorcycle with us, it was necessary to get two new tires installed as soon as possible. The front tire was not worn as much is the rear, but I thought I might as well get both replaced as my wife wanted to go riding with her sister and brother-in-law while we were in Michigan.I contacted Steve Gay and he told me that he did not have the tires I need in stock, but he would try to find them. He told me that the warehouse was closed for the holidays and that he would order the tires and should have them by Tuesday. that would have been July 8. I was worried, to say the least. I called and the tires had indeed arrived on Tuesday. Steve told me that they could be mounted and come on down. I was there in about 20 min. Steve had left for a doctors appointment and Aaron Foster greeted me. Soon the bike was in the shop. This was around 4 PM. They had a little trouble installing rear tire which put them a little behind. They asked if I could come back in the morning to finish. I replied that I was leaving in the morning. Evidently two service technicians got together and finish mounting my front in time. Little did I know at the time that the shop was closed at 6 PM it was already 6:10 PM.

I paid my bill. Thank them all and told them how much I appreciated all the work being done for me. They save my vacation. Wednesday morning I loaded up my bike on the trailer and we took off for Michigan in the RV. Beautiful weather in Michigan and my wife and I our rode for approximately 500 miles with my sister and brother-in-law and had a great time.

I purchaced two bikes from them, have used their service department for normal maintenance. Found everyone to be fair and honest. I've enjoyed each vist, felt welcome by entire staff. Before my last bike purchase, they even let a member of staff bring the bike to my house so I could make sure it would fit in a small space in the garage with all my other toys. I thank the sales manager, Jeremy, for working with me on my latest purchase. I approched him with an offer to help with a problem I noticed in front of the dealership underneath the large Yamaha sign. He asked what problem, I explained that the Honda Goldwing for sale parked under that sign would look better inside my garage and I could buy it today. He laughed, said that was the most unique offer he'd heard, within twenty min, I was shaking his hand with the new keys in my other hand. Debbie was very helpful with providing the information I needed to complete the sale & tag transfer. It's nice to work with professionals that know how to treat customers. I've been in sales for the past 15 years, am a manager, I could see how each performed, I give them all an A+.
